Michael Hoffman
Michael Hoffmann, 71, of Rahway passed away Friday in Trintas Regional Medical Center, Elizabeth. Services will be held on Wednesday, March 3, 2010, at 9 a.m. in the Pettit-Davis Funeral Home, 371 W. Milton Ave., Rahway, www.pettitdavis funeralhome.com, thence to St. Mark's R.C. Church, Rahway, where his Funeral Mass will be offered at 10 a.m. Entombment is in St. Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia. Visiting will be Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Born in Union City, Mr. Hoffmann moved to Rahway in 1966. He was a communicant of St. Mark's R.C. Church, Rahway. He was employed as a glazier for 40 years before retiring in 2004, and was a member of Local 1009, Springfield. He was predeceased by his wife, Theresa, in 2004. Surviving are three sons, Michael of Colonia, Kenneth of Avenel and Keith of Rahway, and a daughter, Kim Carbonaro of Rahway. He was also loved by a brother, Thomas Hoffmann; a sister, Delores Hessian; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made at the funeral home to the American Diabetes Association.
