JOSEPH BILLY, SR, 87 of Rahway passed away on January 15, 2010. A lifelong resident of Rahway, NJ and World War II Veteran, Joe was a cabinetmaker by trade and worked for over 50 years at Huffman Koos Furniture in Linden. He was an avid golfer who could be seen on his favorite courses in all types of weather conditions and at all times of day (and night!). If not on the golf course, Joe could be found at home repairing friends golf clubs, furniture or woodcarving. Although a hobby that began in his later years, his talent of bringing wood to life has produced mementos that his family members will forever hold dear. Mr. Billy was predeceased by his wife, Rose (Mularz) Billy. Joe is survived by his son, Joseph, Jr, Former Special Agent-in-Charge of the Newark office of the FBI; his daughter Debbie Cilento of Linden; his brother, Dan Billy of Clark, a retired PGA golf professional; son-in-law, Ralph Cilento of Linden; daughter-in-law, Debra A. Billy and grandson, Brendan Joseph of VA. Joseph Billy, Sr. will be laid to rest with military honors on Monday, January 25th, 2010 at 11:00 AM in Brig.Gen William C.Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, in Wrightstown, NJ. In lieu of flowers or donations, the family asks that relatives and friends take some time to reach out and contact a loved one.
